Privacy Policy
Lucero Hair & Wellness (“Lucero,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and our Salt Lake City and Ogden studios, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or booking with us, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you email us, apply through our careers form, sign up for our newsletter, or otherwise contact us directly, we receive the details you choose to provide. That may include your name, email address, phone number, pronouns (if you share them) and any message you send.
Booking information. Appointments are booked through our third-party scheduling provider, Aura Salonware. The information you enter to book — like your name, contact details and appointment preferences — is handled by Aura under its own privacy policy. We receive the booking details we need to prepare for and provide your service.
In the studio. When you visit, we keep basic records related to your appointments and services so we can take good care of your hair over time.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host records basic, aggregate technical information — such as pages requested and general device or browser type — to keep the site running and secure. Our site also stores small amounts of data in your browser (“local storage”) to remember preferences, such as which studio you last chose. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions, messages and applications.
- To schedule, prepare for and provide your services.
- To send you updates, offers or our newsletter — only if you have asked to receive them.
- To maintain, improve and secure our website.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business, including with:
- Service providers who help us operate — such as our booking provider (Aura Salonware), our website host and our email tools — and only to perform services for us.
- Embedded services on our site, such as maps, which may receive limited information (like your IP address) when a page loads.
- Authorities, if required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or our team.
Cookies and browser storage
Our website uses minimal browser storage to remember your preferences and keep things working smoothly. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Some embedded third-party content — such as an embedded map or our booking system — may set its own cookies when you interact with it; those are governed by the relevant provider’s policy. You can clear or block browser storage in your browser settings.
Your choices
- Email updates. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
- Access and deletion. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by getting in touch.
- Booking data. To review or remove information held by our booking provider, contact us and we’ll help — or reach the provider directly.
Children’s privacy
Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through the site. (Minors are of course welcome in our chairs with a parent or guardian.)
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and limit access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date below. Your continued use of our website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
